How to get around it
Coming from the north: get off at Gare du Nord (Grandes Lignes, hall 5). Then take métro line 4 or line 14 to cross Paris. Line 14 is free during this period.
Stade de France – Saint-Denis is closed. Use Transilien line H from Gare du Nord to Saint-Denis, then transfer.
Coming from the south: RER D trains terminate at Gare de Lyon. Take métro line 14 (free) or line 1 to continue north.
Is this a strike?
No. These are planned modernisation works — ballast, track and signalling renewal, preparing the RER D for NExTEO (next-generation automatic train control). Nothing to do with a strike or a union action. Check live strike status →
